WM300B Bundled Control Cable for NC300II and HC345C systems
Alpha Communications® WM300B control cable is specially made for use with the NC300II series microprocessor nurse call system. The cable features the precise combination of conductors and shielding necessary to provide optimum performance of the NC300II system.
The WM300B control cable is also used for the HC345C series microprocessor Emergency-Call System. The cable provides for simple installation, as all wire necessary for connection of the central processing equipment to master, patient, staff, duty and other addressable stations is contained in a single bundle. The individually shielded and jacketed Data, Audio and Power assemblies with drain wire(s) ensure clear, noise-free audio communication.

The control cable shall be Alpha Communications® WM300B or approved equal and shall contain 10 conductors. All 10 conductors contained within multiple jacketed cable assemblies, all bundled together to form a single cable pull. The NOMINAL O.D. of this cable shall not exceed .625". The conductors within this cable shall be configured as follows.
One Data Assembly (3 conductor) #18 gauge stranded wire wrapped by an overall aluminum/mylar shield and an ORANGE .032" thick PE jacket. This shield shall have a #20 gauge TC drain wire. The conductors shall be Yellow, Orange and Green. The nom. capacitance between these three conductors shall be 24.0 pF/foot.
One Audio Assembly (2 conductor) #18 gauge stranded wire wrapped by an overall aluminum/mylar shield and a GRAY .032" thick PVC jacket. The shield shall have a #20 gauge TC drain wire. The conductors shall be Violet and Gray. The nom. capacitance between these two conductors shall be 24.0 pF/foot.
One Power Assembly (3 conductor) #18 gauge stranded wire wrapped by an overall aluminum/mylar shield and a GREEN .015" thick PVC jacket. The shield shall have a #20 gauge TC drain wire. The conductors shall be RED, BROWN and BLUE. The nom. capacitance between these two conductors shall be 43.0 pF/foot.
One Ground Assembly (2 conductor) #16 gauge stranded wire and a BLACK .020" thick PVC jacket. The conductors shall be Red and Black.
